Makeup Tutorial: Graduation Makeup

Hi everyone!
A few days ago, someone asked me on ask.fm to do a tutorial on my graduation makeup so here, whoever you are, I grant your wish! ^^ I kinda hurried in creating this tutorial because these days are the "graduation season" so I hope this tutorial would be helpful for you guys who are graduating this year ^^
P.S. check out the D-day FOTD here.

  1. Apply primer evenly to your entire face [Tony Moly's Expert Smoothing Primer & Etude House's Goodbye Pore Ever: Pore Primer Stick for nose area].
  2.  Conceal any imperfections first with concealer [Tony Moly's Prestige Dual Carat Concealer].
  3. Apply foundation by dotting the foundation onto you entire face before blending it using sponge [Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow].
  4. Set the foundation with powder and apply more powder to the oily areas such as eyelid, nose, and hair line [The Body Shop's All-in-One Face Base Double Function].

shades used:
Champagne Truffle: shimmery champagne (pinkish)
Haute Chocolate: shimmery chocolate
Triple Fudge: matte dark chocholate

  1. Apply eyeshadow base [NYX's Jumbo Eye Pencil #Milk].
  2. Apply shimmery champagne eyeshadow on the inner corner to the middle of your eyelid [Champagne Truffle].
    • Tips for monolid eyes: apply the eyeshadow at least up to 0,5mm above your eyes when they're opened.
  3. Apply matte dark chocolate eyeshadow on the outer V [Triple Fudge].
  4. Apply shimmery chocolate eyeshadow on the middle of the eyelid as the transition color and blend [Haute Chocolate].
  5. Draw wing eyeliner [Etude House's Drawing Show Brush Liner BK801].
  6. Curl up the upper lashes and apply mascara [Etude House's Lash Perm Mascara].
  7. Apply mascara to the lower lashes too [Etude House's Lash Perm Mascara].
  8. Apply fake lashes [Lavie Lash #Fawn]
    • Tips: use thicker fake lashes to "open up" the eyes.
  9. Fill in your eyebrows [Etude House's Drawing Eyebrow #1].

  1. Contour your cheek, nose, and hair line. Highlight your cheekbones, T-zone, and chin [3CE Magic Touch Face Maker]. (Contour-Highlight tips here)
  2. Apply peachy-pink blush on your cheekbones [Etude House's Lovely Cookie Blusher #10].
  3. Apply loose powder so that your makeup could sit in place longer  [The Body Shop's Extra Virgin Minerals Loose Powder Foundation].
    • Tips: pat lightly using sponge or brush.

  1. Apply lipstick or lip gloss of your choice and make sure that it's a lip product that would stay put up to 5 hours. In this case, I choose bright-colored lip stain [YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain #104].
