Choosing your outfit for the day could be confusing sometimes. Should I go casual or formal? I said, why not both? A little touch of bodycon midi skirt could give you a professional feel, while using a cardigan gives off casual look. Therefore, you'll look casual but professional at the same time. And that would be the concept of my outfit post today, looking casual but still professional.
Away from the fashion talks, I've been thinking about this for awhile. Beauty rules exist to help you not to dictate you. During one year of me being a beauty blogger, I learnt a lot about beauty, and of course beauty rules such as, the three-points eyebrow guide, do your eye makeup first before defining your eyebrow, don't use bold lips and heavy eye makeup at the same time, and so on.
I did follow those rules for a while but later on, I think that this rule's style didn't suit me well. Like, what's wrong with bold lips combined with heavy eye makeup? It's fine and sometimes, it'll even look good. Or eye makeup before eyebrows? Well, I think it's based on one's preference.
Most importantly here is the three-points eyebrow guide. I personally think that it doesn't suit well with just everyone. Sometimes it could be too "high-arched" or something else.
After all, beauty is about expressing yourself. Beauty rules might be there to help you but certainly not to dictate you. Be free and expressive in beauty, or in this case, doing your makeup. Let people know who you are through your beauty.
