Beauty is Pain?! Stimulate The Production of Collagen with Derma Roller

It's been a while since the last time I've been here so hello!
Today I'm bringing you the product that might make you say, "Indeed, beauty is pain." I've been using this for more than 3 months. So how's the result? Keep scrolling!

Name: Derma Roller
Type: 1.0 mm
Brand: Derma Roller System
Origin: Canada
Price: USD 99.95

The Derma Roller (also known as a microneedle roller or a skin roller) is a revolutionary hand-held device with the ability to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin to promote healthier skin cells in the body.

Using 200 extremely fine medical-grade needles, the Derma Roller painlessly creates microchannels in your skin, which triggers the body’s natural healing process to create new, healthier tissue to replace the imperfections of older skin. By renewing your skin cells regularly, you will be able to treat common problems we experience as we age, such as wrinkles, skin hyperpigmentation, scars (including acne scars), uneven skin, stretch marks (usually developed after pregnancy), and hair loss, or it can just be used to create smoother skin.

To use:
1. Disinfect the Derma Roller
2. Roll the Derma Roller gently over the area you wish to treat 4 times vertically, 4 times horizontally, 4 times diagonally to the left, and 4 times diagonally to the right (as illustrated above)
3. Apply collagen cream/serum/mask (optional)
4. Apply sun protective cream after daytime treatment
*Frequency of treatment varies depending on needles size, see more here.

As Derma Roller is a beauty tool that will penetrate your skin, it is important to make sure that the product is sterile. The Derma Roller comes sealed with a case inside for you to store yours.

Derma Roller comes with various needles sizes with different usage and different treatment frequency. I got mine in 1.0 mm which can be used to treat the face, scars, and also stretch marks. It is recommended to do the treatment once in 3 to 4 weeks. For more information of other needles sizes, click here.

I've been using Derma Roller for more than 3 months but forgive my forgetful-self, I only took photos after my second use. During the treatment, I really felt the term "hurt without bleeding". The needles were tiny but I still felt something prickled unto my skin. If I were to rate the pain, I would give it a 6 out of 10, given that I have low pain tolerance. After my first use, I experience some redness the day after but it subsided the next day. My skin also stings when applying skin care but the sting only last for one day so it wasn't much a problem.
After several use, I felt that my skin glows more, plumper, softer, and more even skin tone. Also, less pimples and acne during that time of the month, I might add. I've also started to treat my stretch marks and scars recently but haven't seen a lot of improvement. Probably, it's because I often forgot to do the treatment regularly. Well, since it's a once in a month treatment, it often slips my mind. However, I'll get back to you guys when I have updates.

I think this Derma Roller will last a long time so not in the near future.
